"File retrieval is one of the most challenging treatments in endodontics, and with the wrong tools, it can quickly become frustrating and unpredictable. I designed the EndoCowboy to change that by giving clinicians a high-precision instrument with interchangeable lasso tips in various sizes, allowing them to match the tool to the specific clinical situation. The system features a bendable yet stable cannula, ultra-strong low-elongation wire, and a ball-bearing tensioning mechanism that provides clear tactile feedback for controlled and confident loop placement. Every aspect of the design was developed to increase the chances of success while preserving the natural anatomy of the root canal. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the system now being used so successfully by specialists around the world. It feels like the design has truly met its purpose."

Case 1

A separated file in the mesial canal was successfully removed using the EndoCowboy with minimally invasive access and troughing. Troughing was performed with a sonic handpiece using the EndoClean sonic tip, allowing precise and conservative dentin removal. The blue lasso tip (0.1 mm loop, 0.4 mm cannula) was then placed around the fragment, tightened, and the file was safely retrieved. Final X-ray shows full canal obturation to the apical foramen with minimal hard tissue loss and preservation of the tooth’s natural anatomy.
